Information
The story of Hamilton began in the late 1940s in California. Today, the company is globally positioned with headquarters in Reno, Nevada; Franklin, Massachusetts (both USA), Bonaduz, Ems (both Switzerland), Timisoara (Romania) as well as sales offices around the world. With its subsidiaries and over 2,500 employees, Hamilton is a leader in development and production in the areas of liquid handling, process analytics, robotics, medical and automated warehouse solutions.
The business unit Process Analytics is one of Hamilton's fast-growing divisions. In 1989, the company developed the first pH-sensors and has grown continuously since then. Today, the portfolio includes parameters such as pH, ORP, CO2, conductivity, dissolved oxygen as well as total and viable cell density. With a focus on the biopharmaceutical industry, the division is solving the challenges of process analytics with groundbreaking developments. The Arc sensors represent an important development in recent years, because the integrated micro-transmitters make external transmitters unnecessary. For the ever-growing single-use range, Hamilton also offers special pH, oxygen, conductivity and cell density sensors. In addition to sensors, the Business Unit Process Analytics supplies the associated cables, armatures, transmitters, buffers, standards and accessories.
Hamilton is a leading global manufacturer providing automated liquid handling workstations and laboratory automation technology to the scientific community. Hamilton Robotics products incorporate patented liquid handling technologies into a portfolio that includes five liquid handling platform lines (Microlab® VANTAGE, Microlab® STAR V, Microlab® STAR, Microlab® NIMBUS and Microlab® Prep), small devices, consumables and OEM liquid handling solutions.
Hamilton Robotics products are well-known in life science, clinical diagnostics, forensics, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Moreover, Hamilton Robotics offers a wide range of solutions for various applications. From ready-to-use solutions (for fast implementation) to fully customized solutions explicitly designed to fulfill the needs of each specific project, Hamilton’s philosophy is to provide customers with a broad range of options.
