They produce Hydrogen by electrolysing deionized water using a 100% titanium Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) cell, which ensures a longer generator life. The Hydrogen is then purified and dried through various methods, such as adsorption drying, desiccant cartridge drying, or Permapure drying, to meet the required purity for your applications. The COSMOS generators deliver on-demand hydrogen at flow rates from 100 – 1500 cc/min with purities up to 99.99999%. Once installed, the generator ensures constant Hydrogen purity 24/7. The COSMOS N2 / ZN2 generators are designed to optimize the supply of high purity Nitrogen for various applications. They use reliable pressure swing absorption (PSA) technique to remove Oxygen and moisture, producing high purity Nitrogen with a purity up to 99.9995%. A built-in catalyst also removes hydrocarbons to < 0.05 ppm. The COSMOS Zero Air Total generators produce dry, hydrocarbon-free air from oil-free compressors, suitable for use as GC detector gas. Hydrocarbons and CO are removed by a catalytic oven filled with palladium. Humidity and CO2 are eliminated using a dual molecular sieve PSA system, while NO is removed with Purafil. Other components are filtered out with active charcoal.
