Contactless Conductivity Detection C4D
Laboratory Technology
Information
C4D enables conductivity measurement without direct contact with the liquid.
With C4D, extremely small sample volumes can be measured — as little as 20 nanolitres. The system supports a wide measurement range, from 10 µS/cm to 1000 mS/cm.
🌟 Key Advantages of Contactless Conductivity Detection
🧪 No Direct Contact with the Liquid
No contamination or interference with the sample.
Ideal for sensitive, reactive, or biological samples.
🧼 No Fouling, No Scaling
Electrodes remain clean because they are not in contact with the fluid.
Resistant to dirt, scaling, and biofilm formation.
Minimal maintenance – no frequent cleaning or recalibration required.
🧯 Safe and Chemically Resistant
Suitable for aggressive or corrosive media .
safer in hazardous or flammable environments.
⚙️ Robust and Reliable in Harsh Conditions
Performs well in dirty, high-solid, or high-viscosity samples, such as slurries or wastewater.
Stable performance with low drift and long-term accuracy.
No carryover or "memory effect" from previous samples.
🔬 Applications and Product Range
EDAQ’s contactless conductivity technology is available in a range of formats to suit various applications:
