A holistic approach: taking cleaning and bio-decontamination into account from the R&D phase, through clinical development and right up to marketing authorisation

Aseptic processes in "traditional" pharmaceutical manufacturing, such as gene and cell therapy, viral vector manufacturing and other technologies, require rigorous monitoring and contamination control. Certain parameters are critical in controlling microbial contamination within a production site. These include cleaning, disinfection and automated bio-decontamination. It's never too early to integrate appropriate processes and technologies to control the risk of contamination and unnecessary errors.

This conference will present a holistic approach to developing a cleaning and decontamination regime.
