Contactless dispensing processes are well-established in many applications—but what happens between the nozzle and the target often remains invisible. While numerous process parameters are monitored, there is currently no established standard for directly controlling the droplet’s features.
This is exactly where droptical comes in. Our dropwatchers are high-precision camera systems that make individual droplets visible and measurable during the dispensing process. They analyze, for example, droplet volume, flight path, and process stability and detect deviations such as satellite droplets, spray, or nozzle problems.
This transforms a process that was previously largely unobserved into a measurable, optimizable, and monitorable process.
